Coonamble

Arrived in Coonamble mid morning and found our way to the show ground where everyone was meeting. It happened to be next door to the hospital where Geoff had done extensive surveys years ago. He was very happy to see that they had almost totally re built the hospital using his work.

They had a meet the locals in the Main Street so we all parked and chatted as we waited to see if anyone would come and talk to us. We met a few farmers etc.

Went back to the show ground and set up the tent. Much better at it this time. Tea was put on by Rotary and some indigenous kids doing a hospitality program
Great range of series landies and ever a forward control ex military gun tractor. Met a great bunch of enthusiasts from the ACT club as well as our old friends from the Sydney club.
